Del Monte Fresh Produce Company quality management systems are integrated management programs that encompass policies, requirements and work processes of the environment, worker health, safety, human resources, fruit production and quality. These programs are compliant with ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2000, EurepGAP and Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) social standards, as well as with local regulations in the many Del Monte Fresh Produce operations around the world.

The ISO 9000 series of quality management systems, focus on customer satisfaction, and allow more involvement of people at all levels of the organization, while the ISO 14000 series of environmental management systems standards, focus on environmental responsibility and superior environmental performance.

Del Monte Fresh Produce Company is certified in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or in EurepGap, to foster closer working relationships with customers, suppliers, governments and local communities. We measure and verify our commitment to our corporate social responsibilities through observance of labor codes (such as the ILO principles) and auditing our operations against social standards such as the SA 8000, Ethical Trading Initiative, and EurepGAP.
